Lonnie Bagwell, DC

Chiropractor

Lonnie Bagwell, DC, is the owner and operator of True Health Center in Huntersville, North Carolina. In a very short period of time, Dr. Bagwell has helped thousands of people in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area recover from a lifetime of poor lifestyle choices and afflictions that negatively impacted their lives. Through his interventions, Dr. Bagwell helped many people avoid or recover from a number of health conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

Before opening True Health Center, Dr. Bagwell worked at some of the world’s top genetic, immunology, diabetes, and weight loss centers. Doing so has given him a unique and powerful perspective on both life and health. Dr. Bagwell is also a certified CrossFit® trainer and certified sports performance coach for USA Weightlifting.  

Dr. Bagwell takes his love of health and prevention beyond the office as a leader in corporate wellness in Charlotte. Through his lunch and learn seminars, he helps people make better choices to improve their overall health, leading to fewer sick days and a happier work and home life that improves upon both professional and personal relationships. Dr. Bagwell helps people unlock their inner greatness to optimize health.

Brigitte Spurgeon

Clinical Director & Weight Loss Specialist

Brigitte has a background in Microbiology and Immunology and found great passion in biomedical research at a young age. She has since devoted herself to the field of holistic nutrition and helping people transform their lives through weight loss and lifestyle shifts. She combines her commitment to science and clinical study with her love for helping people find hope and true healing. Brigitte specializes in priming metabolic pathways and customized whole food nutrition strategies. Brigitte loves to travel with her husband and compete in endurance races. She is an Ironman finisher, ultra-marathoner and has summited Kilimanjaro twice. She is originally from South Africa but has lived in Georgia and North Carolina for the last 25 years. She has appeared on NBC and WSOC and can be found on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Dr. Justin Dick , DC

Chiropractor

As a young man I was in a major motor vehicle accident. I was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and epilepsy. The doctors told my family that I would not fully recover. After months of therapy, I started matriculation at Ferris State University in Michigan. I graduated majoring in Nuclear Medicine and Health Care Systems Administration. 

My professional life began in 2007 working in the hospital setting in SC. I watched for 3 years people come in to receive health, but only leave sick. 

In 2009, I traveled to Kenya on my first mission trip. I mentally never returned home. Later that year I left a career in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography to pursue ministry in the field. I traveled the globe as His hands and feet helping to restore lives to those that had lost hope in disasters. 

Upon my return to the US in 2012, I married my beautiful wife, Kelly. I had watched as Chiropractic transformed her life. No modern medicine could diagnose what she suffered from. It is a blessing to say that she suffers no longer and is living who she was meant to be. 

After our wedding, a prophetic word was spoken over my life to enter the chiropractic field. As a graduate in 2016, miracles of healing have come with a touch from these hands (Mark 16:17-18). Finishing my post doctorate work through the CLEAR Institute in scoliosis reduction, I have seen lives transformed and restored. When modern medicine has told us that it is impossible, we see overcomers. 

He has given me a multitude of gifts. Of these, my hands are now at His service for you.

Hayley Cederberg

Certified Holistic Health Practitioner

Hayley Cederberg used her personal health journey as motivation to develop her knowledge in holistic health care by studying at Trinity School of Natural Health to become a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Certified Natural Health Professional. She experienced multiple chronic symptoms and received multiple incorrect diagnoses from medical health professionals over the course of two and a half years. Hayley experienced miraculous healing from God, allowing her to eat without pain after years of being on a restricted diet. It was a local naturopathic practitioner that helped Hayley identify the root cause of her health issues and subsequently helped her detox, support, and strengthen her body.

With her new-found health and vitality, Hayley was able to join YWAM in Toowoomba, Australia for six months and minister to the people in Bangkok, Thailand. She lives in Concord, NC with her husband and daughter. Hayley enjoys drawing, playing the bass guitar, singing, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and spending time outside.

Tina Tuttle

Office Manager, Integrator

Tina Tuttle’s professional background started as a licensed Behavioral Health Counselor, practicing for several years in private practice settings. She received a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins University in 2015 and a bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2011 in Sociology and International Global Studies. As a counselor, Tina learned a great deal about the overlap between mental health and physical health and decided to change career paths to get more involved in holistic health care.

Growing up, she lived in multiple locations around the U.S.A., primarily in Minnesota, Alabama, and North Carolina. Tina has been living in the Charlotte, NC area since 2015 with her husband and fur babies. She enjoys traveling, spending time relaxing outside, reading, eating, and spending time with friends and family.

Victoria Buff

Radiologic Technologist, Health Coach

Victoria Buff graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S in Psychology and minor in Women Studies. Shortly after graduating, she began working within Human Resources for four years, within the financial and engineering industries. In March 2020, Victoria left her job in Human Resources to pursue her passion in health and wellness, obtaining her Health Coach Certification in September 2020. In July 2020, Victoria joined the True Health family and subsequently obtained her Radiation Technician Certification.

Victoria is from the small town of Indian Trail, North Carolina. She is a nature enthusiast who loves being outdoors, exploring new hiking trails and sights along the way. She really enjoys staying active, whether it is lifting weights at the gym, going on runs outside, or relaxing with yoga.

LaDonna Mole

Weight Loss Coach

A native of Winston-Salem, NC, LaDonna Mole earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at Wake Forest University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Industrial-Organization Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

LaDonna is a Fitness Group Instructor and Worship Leader. She joined True Health after losing 30 lbs on our weight loss program. She coaches our in clinic patients to reach their goals and provides administrative support for the entire program. She lives in Charlotte with her husband and two sons.

Katlin Kurfman

Weight Loss Coach

Katlin Kurfman is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She originally graduated with a B.S. in FInance but after some time in the corporate world, she decided to make a career change by turning her passion for functional health and fitness into a full-time career.

Ann Hartley

Weight Loss Coach

Ann has a B.S. and MEd in Nutrition and Food Service Management and worked primarily in the school system.

She struggled with her weight, trying every weight loss plan out there, for most of her adult life. After finding True Health, she finally lost all her weight (100+ lbs) and started a journey to heal her body naturally, coming off of all her medications. She felt empowered to truly live the lifestyle with long-term success. We are proud to have Ann coach our patients to find their own True Health Freedom. She displays compassion, wisdom and grit that come from her own journey, which in itself has inspired countless observers.

David Hamill

Weight Loss Coach

David works in the Insurance Industry and is an Army MP Veteran. He lives on the coast of NC with his wife and three boys.

David and his wife lost 85 lbs and 40 lbs respectively working with True Health Weight Loss and maintain their healthy lifestyle and results without feeling restricted from the foods they enjoy. David has been an inspiration sharing his journey and we are excited to have him on the team coaching our men to experience true transformation..
